Our first year boys Gaelic Football team played the first round of the Connacht championship on the 8th of February in the GAA Centre of Excellence in Bekan. It was a very strong performance against a very good St. Muredach’s team. The first half was very close with goals on both sides making it very exciting. The PCH boys finished the half well leading with the score 5:7 to 5:3.
PCH dominated the second half with a great team performance outscoring the opposition 3:11 to two points. The boys march on to the quarter finals on the 27th of February where they play our neighbours Ballinrobe Community School.
