PCH Numeracy Day
Tuesday 5th May
Presentation College hosted a Numeracy Day on the 5th May. This initiative is aimed to highlight to the school community that we use mathematics every day and is aimed to improve students confidence with their own mathematics.
The school organised a range of numeracy based
games and competitions.
The education system in Ireland is striving to
improve our national numeracy levels and
Presentation College set aside this day to
pay particular emphasis to this ongoing goal.
First Year Students took part in a Countdown
Number Challenge! The aim was to develop basic
numeracy skills in an enjoyable team based
environment!
The day was a wonderful success . Pictures!
All classes throughout the day also brought numeracy
into their lesson!
