School Transport

Bus Éireann has confirmed that school transport services are due to restart tomorrow, Monday, 13 April. Bus Éireann is working with contractors through local school transport offices to ensure that any disruption to school transport services is limited and localised.

However, if road blockades continue or fuel supply issues arise, there may be delays or disruptions to some school bus services. Bus Éireann will contact families as soon as possible if services are affected.

Members of the public are advised to plan their journey before travelling and allow extra travel time.  The National Transport Authority has a dedicated web page for information on service disruptions. The public can also check https://traffic.tii.ie/ for general traffic alerts. Those using public transport should check with their operators in case of diversions or disruptions.

We will continue to monitor the situation, work with the National Emergency Coordination Group, and provide updates as more information becomes available.
