We welcome the involvement of parents as partners in the education of their children and the co-operation and support of the wider community in delivering a quality teaching and learning experience for all.
As a proud CEIST school, we honour the remarkable 250‑year legacy of the Presentation Sisters, whose vision, courage, and commitment to education continue to inspire our community today. Their dedication to inclusion, compassion, and academic excellence lives on in our classrooms, our values, and our daily actions. Being part of the CEIST trust strengthens this heritage, guiding us as we nurture the whole person and empower every student to grow, learn, and lead with integrity.
This week, our school community joins CEIST schools across the country in celebrating CEILIÚRADH CEIST, a time dedicated to honouring the shared values that shape who we are and how we live each day.
The theme, “Together in Hope, Inspired by Faith, Transformed by Love – Schools, Homes and Parishes Working Together,” reminds us that education is far more than what happens within classroom walls. It is a partnership of hearts, hands, and hopes.
As a CEIST school, we recognise the deep roots of our tradition – one built on compassion, courage, and a belief in the dignity of every person. This celebration invites us to pause and appreciate the many people who help our students grow: families who nurture, parishes who guide, and teachers who inspire.
Throughout the week, we reflect on how hope strengthens us, how faith grounds us, and how love transforms our communities. When schools, homes, and parishes work together, we create something powerful – a community where every young person feels supported, valued, and encouraged to become their best self.
CEILIÚRADH CEIST is not just a celebration; it is a reminder of the mission we share and the future we are building together.
A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful school choir and to their teachers, Ms. Ita Cunningham and Ms. Andraya Tighe, for their creativity, time, and talent in putting together our CEIST celebration video. Their work brings our community’s spirit to life.
