November is a time to remember, a time to recall; family, friends and colleagues who have passed away.

At the heart of our school is our beautiful Memorial Garden, a space dedicated to the memory of all associated with the wider PCH community who have died.

This November, we invite everyone in our school community to remember their loved ones by writing the name or names of the dearly departed on a small wooden heart which will be displayed on a branch in the Memorial Garden.

Today, our prayer is taken from a plaque that hangs in the garden…

“We remember them

When the wind cries

Deep in the chill of winter.

When green shoots break

In Spring’s renewing birth.

We remember them.

In the warmth of Summer’s gaze,

And amid the rustling leaves

Of fading Autumn days,

We remember them.

For as long as we remember them,

They too will live.

They are always part of us

When we remember them.

Amen
