The Talented Director of All Shook Up

Conor Quinlan is an actor, writer, director and teacher based in the west of Ireland. A graduate of the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, he has worked extensively across film, television, and theatre. His screen credits include The Siege of Jadotville (Netflix/Parallel Films) and Jack Taylor: Purgatory (Telegael). On stage, he has appeared in King of the Castle with Druid Theatre Company and Donal Ryan’s The Spinning Heart with Articulate Anatomy. In his youth, he also took part in many musicals and pantomimes. He also directed a production of This Lime Tree Bower with Nyx Theatre Company.

As a screenwriter, Conor’s work includes the feature film Sooner or Later and the short film Battleship, both produced with Project Spatula and showcased at the Galway Film Fleadh and the Cork Film Festival. He also wrote Connection Interrupted for Timo Films, which won Best Film at the Galway City of Film 48 Hour Challenge and later screened at the Galway Film Fleadh and other festivals.

His creative output extends to writing and directing music videos for bands such as Dead Horse Jive. He also has a range of published short stories, as well as poetry, both written and performed.

Conor is delighted to be directing such a wonderfully talented cast of students for PCH’s All Shook Up.
