Senior Chemistry Students, accompanied by their teachers Ms Halleran and Ms Gallagher, enjoyed a great day at Boston Scientific and the Galway Clinic.
The students got a great insight into the production of Boston Scientific medical devices and were given a very informed tour of the Radiology Department at the Galway Clinic. These tours were organised for our students by pass pupils of PCH, Stephen Halleran (Mechanical Engineer Boston Scientific) and Peter Woulfe (Medical Physicist Galway Clinic). PCH have developed strong links with both Boston Scientific and the Galway Clinic through our engagement with SciFest and Science Week celebrations.
