We have a very active debating team here at PCH supported by Ms O’Shaughnessy and Mr.Whyte. They attend workshops and participate in competitions both in person and virtually.
Earlier this year, seven PCH students participated in the first University of Galway Model United Nations. The University of Galway Model United Nations (MUN) is a student-led conference where participants simulate the workings of the United Nations. It provides an opportunity for students to engage in debates, discussions, and negotiations on a variety of global issues, using the framework of the UN system. Our students were outstanding. They participated fully in the plenary sessions, their respective committees and even got some resolutions passed.
