Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we reach the end of another successful academic year, we would like to thank you sincerely for your continued support and partnership throughout the year. We greatly appreciate the positive relationship that exists between home and school and the support you provide to your children in their educational journey.

We wish all members of our school community a safe, restful and enjoyable summer break and look forward to welcoming our students back for the 2026/2027 academic year.

School Uniform

Students are expected to return to school in full school uniform from their first day back. We ask parents and guardians to use the summer period to ensure that uniforms are ready for the new school year.

Full details of our school uniform requirements can be found on our website:

We thank parents for their continued support in maintaining our high standards of presentation and uniform compliance.

Student Services Fee 2026/2027

The Board of Management has approved a Student Services Fee of €130 per student for the 2026/2027 school year.

This fee contributes towards a range of services and supports provided to students throughout the year, including:

  • Student personal accident insurance
  • Locker and combination lock rental
  • Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
  • Photocopying, printing and stationery supports
  • Licences and affiliation fees
  • TYRO Management Information System
  • Communication costs
  • Various school facilities and student supports

The Student Services Fee will be available for payment through the TYRO Parent App. Families with three or more students attending the school are welcome to contact the school office regarding the family rate available.

Free Schoolbooks Scheme

The Free Schoolbooks Scheme will continue for all students during the 2026/2027 academic year.

We are currently liaising with our suppliers regarding the ordering, preparation and distribution of textbooks and classroom resources. At present, we are hopeful that books will be distributed during the week prior to students returning to school; however, these arrangements are still being finalised.

Further information regarding book collection and distribution will issue to families during August once all arrangements have been confirmed.

One-to-One Device Programme

As previously communicated, incoming First Year students and Fifth Year students participating in the school’s one-to-one device programme will receive their devices during their initial return days at the beginning of the school year.

We are continuing to work closely with Olive for Education regarding deployment arrangements and scheduling. More detailed information, including times and procedures, will issue later in the summer once final confirmation has been received from Olive.

Update of Contact Details

If your address, telephone number, email address or emergency contact information has changed during the past year, please notify the school office as soon as possible. Up-to-date contact information is essential to ensure effective communication between home and school.

We are looking forward to another exciting and productive year in Presentation College Headford. We thank you once again for your support and cooperation and look forward to welcoming our students back in late August.

On behalf of the Board of Management, Principal, staff and school community, we wish all of our families a very happy, safe and enjoyable summer.
