Hugely Successful Basketball Finals held in PCH

In what can only be described as a festival of basketball, PCH contested two finals today, losing the u19 by the minimum and claiming victory in the other! Well done to Mr. Slattery and all the teams on a great day! Pictures below with full report to follow!  

Mairead McGuinness to visit PCH on Thursday 28 Feb!

Great news for PCH!! Vice President of the European Commission, Mairead McGuinness will visit our school tomorrow! I’m sure our students are looking forward to hearing her views on a variety of issues! Well done to Ms. Flanagan for organising this!

Environmental Issues explored by out students through Art!

We wish to thank Ms. Sherry’s 1st Year Art class, as well as many of our Transition Year students for creating such beautiful, striking and effective posters and artwork to raise awareness about plastic waste, environmental issues and general recycling in our school.

I Wish Conference

Ms. Gallagher and some of our TY students attended IWish19 today, a conference focused on inspiring and encouraging young women to consider STEM roles! Well done all!

In two fantastic performances, led by their coaches Ms. McCallion and Mr. Slattery, we prevailed in both with the results as follows. 1st years won 32 – 20 2nd years won 37 – 29 Well done all!
