The Department of Education and Skills (DES) offers financial assistance towards the cost of school books for families who are experiencing genuine financial hardship. Details of the grant, and an application form, are posted below. Please note all Junior Cycle students in 2024 -2025 will avail of the Government Free Book Scheme, this will include a starter pack of stationery.
