We hosted a very successful Parent Evening for our new 1st years on Thursday night, September 16th. There was an amazing turnout and an impromptu toe tapping trad session from one of our teachers, Mr Denis Collins, and some of our first year fiddlers!

Ms Elaine Creaven, 1st Yr. year head, gave a very informative presentation explaining some of the daily practices in PCH, defined her role as a year head, and highlighted how to make the transition to secondary school a little easier.

Past pupil and current PME student, Robbie Barrett spoke movingly on  how to make the most of your 5 or 6 years in PCH.

Our 1st year parents and students were introduced to Mr. David Demspey, our new Deputy Principal, who will join us shortly in PCH and is really looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Ms. Fiona Gallagher, Principal, told us about the power of positivity in our lives and recommended all parents to ‘Kiss & Go’ rather than ‘Drop & Go’. Her message told us to give our children wings to fly, secure in our love for them, but resilient enough to take flight.

Ms. Orla Jackson, Deputy Principal, reminded everyone of the upcoming 80th Celebrations and welcomed the whole community to celebrate the legacy of the Presentation Sisters who began their educational journey in Headford in army huts on what is now the new astro turf in Moyne Villa
