On Tuesday 6th February our Transition Year students under the guidance of Ms. Ita Cunningham and Ms. Siobhan Shaughnessy once again played host to our friends from Snipe Industries with an activity day in the Aisling Theatre. Much careful planning went into the activities for the day which commenced with Arts and Crafts including friendship bracelets, card making and painting.
The day progressed with Bingo, fun sporting activities followed by lunch and cupcake decorating. It was then the turn of our TY students to present a variety concert while the whole day finished off nicely with a disco. Many thanks to the staff and service users of Snipe Galway for continuing to support us in one of the most enjoyable and worthwhile days in our Transition Year Programme.
