PCH under 16 girls had a tough game Tuesday against Mercy Roscommon. The girls had an unlucky first half but after hard work and dedication from everyone especially Zoe McGuire, our only try scorer today getting 3 tries and Lily Robinson scoring a conversion ended the game on a score line of 24-17 to Mercy.
Some very impressive defending from Niamh Higgins and many great runs from the captain Ciara Donnellan and Eda Hyland. Thanks to all coaches and support from both teams!
PCH under 18 girls also had an unlucky day but fought hard too the end! A great start to the game as Sarah Oifoh scored the first try but Mercy were very strong throughout the game. Rebecca Hastings ended the game on a good note with a second try and a conversion from Caoimhe Cooney. Thanks again to Oonagh and Ms. Gill for their commitment with both teams!
