Dear Parents,

A very Happy New Year to you all! We hope that the festive season brought joy, relaxation, and special moments with your loved ones. As we embrace the new year, we look forward to another exciting and successful term together.

In the words of John O’Donoghue, a beloved poet whose wisdom resonates with us at the start of the year:

“May the light of your soul guide you,
May the light of your soul bless the work that you do,
May the light of your soul illuminate the hearts of others.”

These words remind us of the importance of returning with renewed energy and purpose, and we are confident that our students will carry this light into their work, both academic and personal, this term.

Back to School: As we return to school tomorrow Monday January 6th, we are filled with fresh energy and optimism for the year ahead. A reminder to students that the Leaving Cert and Junior Cert mock timetables are now available online. Please ensure that you check these schedules and begin your preparations.

BT Young Scientist Competition: This week, we are proud to cheer on our students participating in the BT Young Scientist Exhibition. Representing our school at such a prestigious event is a remarkable achievement, and we wish them the very best of luck. Their hard work and dedication are truly inspiring, and we look forward to hearing about their experience!

We are grateful for your ongoing support as we enter this new term. Here’s to a productive, successful, and fulfilling year for our school community.

Le gach dea-ghuí,

Fiona Gallagher
