Today, we gather to celebrate a remarkable journey—a journey marked by dedication,
passion, and an unwavering commitment to shaping young minds. As we honour Ms. Schalks
on her retirement, we reflect on the profound impact she has had on our school community
and beyond.
From the very first day she stepped into the classroom, Ms.Schalks brought not just
knowledge, but a genuine love for teaching. She has been a beacon of inspiration for both
students and colleagues alike. Her enthusiasm for learning was contagious, sparking curiosity
and creativity in every lesson.
Ms. Schalks has taught us all more than just curriculum; she taught us the importance of
perseverance, kindness, and the power of believing in oneself. Countless students have
walked through the doors of her classroom, and many have walked away with not only
