P.C.H. Parents’ Association is a very active group of parents working in partnership with the school’s Board of Management, senior management, staff, students, and the local community to enhance the educational development and opportunities of the school and its students by fundraising, organising events and representing parents views to school Management.
All parents and guardians of children attending the school are automatically members of the school’s Parents’ Association

PARENT NOMINEE TO THE BOARD OF MANAGEMENT APRIL 2022
A position as Parent Nominee to the Board of Management has become available. A ballot has been sent to every parent in the school which includes the names of two prospective nominees. Please find below the bios of the two candidates who have kindly allowed themselves to be nominated for election;
PARENT NOMINEE BIOGRAPHY;
Cathal Galligan; I am from Limerick originally, married to Tina Lally, and living in Corofin. We have two children, both of whom attend PCH ( Junior Cert & First Year). I am one of the first three permanent deacons ordained to the Diocese of Tuam last November. I am self-employed as a Pastoral Coordinator and Account Technician.
Shelly McCormick: I was born, bred & educated in Galway City . I’m from a family of 6 & worked in the family business.After College I worked in London for 14yrs & returned to Ireland 20yrs ago. I’m a Mom of two. Rose is 17 and is currently attending her TY year at PCH. Thomas is 22 & is now taking a year out of his University Course.I am a Consultant Psychologist/Psychotherapist specialising in Holistic Therapies (Behavioural etc). I am also a Veterinary/Agri Consultant specialising in Repro (Equine/Bovine).
