Pictured are our Leaving Certificate Prefects for 2024 2025.
As part of our Student Leadership 20 of students have been selected as a Senior Prefect for the academic year 2024/2025. This is a wonderful opportunity for any young man or woman to be an ambassador for the school but also to lead and contribute to educational dialogue; come together to give a voice to all students, debate new ideas and improve our community for everyone. Prefects provide a very valuable layer to the day-to-day smooth running of the school.
It has always been a part of school life in Presentation College Headford to have 6th Year Prefects; students who have the respect of the student body as well as the staff and who are entrusted with certain duties and responsibilities.
Role of a PCH Prefect:
- To show leadership in the school
- To work closely with students
- To work closely with staff, particularly at Assemblies and at public functions such as the 1st year Induction day and our Open day
- To attend prefect meetings
The role of a prefect is always expanding to try and help meet the needs of an ever-expanding school community.
The future is in very safe hands.
We wish our prefects, all our LC class and their year head, Sean Conlon, a very happy & healthy year ahead!
