2nd Year Boys Basketball
Our 2nd year boys had another great win today against St. Jarlath’s in Tuam.
A real team effort that showed the lads’ hard work and determination. In the first quarter, PCH started strong with baskets from Finn Foley, Daire Leyden and Dylan Capone .
The second quarter showed our strong defence and 2 more baskets from Eoin Kerrigan and Jonathan McPhilbin. Third and final quarter sealed the deal with more baskets from Michael O’Neill, Dylan Capone, Lukas Kiaulakis, Eoin Kerrigan and Kaelen Stafford.
The final score was 35 – 17 to Headford and secured our place in the cup semi-finals which take place in Galway next Tuesday.
Ms. McCallion and Ms. Carey wish to congratulate the wonderful group of lads on making it this far and for their great attitude and work ethic.
A huge thanks to the 5th year lads who have helped out with coaching and mentoring this season – Patrick Barrins, Finbar Jennings, James Moran, and Conor Hession.
