Second Year Girls Soccer
2nd-year girls took on Kiltimagh today, Monday 28th March, in sunny conditions and a dry pitch. Presentation College dominated the game from start to finish and after some brilliant play from many of the players, the game ended 9-0.
Scorers on the day included Ava Heneghan with a fantastic tally of 4 goals, Eleanor Whelan who scored 2 and displayed skill and speed on many occasions, Alisha O’Malley who was strong as always and Lily Robinson who came on in the second half and scored 2 great goals.
Our defence played well as did our midfield with Alison Fahy working tirelessly in the centre of the field. Emma Curran moved from wing to centre back during the game and did an excellent job in both positions.
Another great win for the girls who continue to do very well in this competition.
Well done to the team and their coaches, Ms Hopkins and Ms Carey. Thanks also to the TY girls who support and mentor the team.
