STAND UP WEEK 2021
Stand Up Awareness Week took place in PCH from November 15th-19th
This was an opportunity to ensure that everyone knows that homophobic language and bullying will not be tolerated in our school community. Here in PCH, we want to create an environment where all young people can be themselves and feel welcome, celebrated, safe, and supported.
This year we focused on the following elements:
- Raising awareness of LGBTI+ terminology
- ‘Choose Words that Heal, not Hurt’ campaign
- ‘Be an Ally’ to our LGBTI+ students
- Rainbow Day on Wednesday 17th November
